💨 Abstract
David Corenswet, 31, has been cast as Superman in a new movie directed by James Gunn. Corenswet learned of his casting an hour before the public announcement and spent that time sharing the news with close family and friends. He received encouragement from past Supermen, Tyler Hoechlin and Henry Cavill, who advised him to forge his own path.
