💨 Abstract

A 4,500-year-old skeleton found in Egypt reveals that a fifth of the man's DNA originated from Mesopotamia, suggesting migration and cultural exchange between the two regions around 10,000 years ago. This discovery supports the theory that the Neolithic Revolution in Mesopotamia influenced Egypt's development. The potter, found in a high-status burial, had brown eyes, brown hair, and dark skin, and lived to around 64 years old.
