💨 Abstract

Max Branning, played by Jake Wood, is returning to "EastEnders." Max left Walford in 2021 to join his daughter Lauren and grandson Louie in New Zealand. Upon his return, Max will have unresolved drama with several characters, including the secret daughter with Linda Carter. His comeback will be brief this autumn, with a more permanent return planned later in the year. Executive Producer Ben Wadey anticipates Max's return will stir significant drama in Albert Square.
