💨 Abstract
After struggling with painful periods and endometriosis, the author adopted free bleeding. Initially deterred by period shame, she found existing products irritating and uncomfortable. Free bleeding reduced costs, irritation, and cramps, and connected her more deeply with her body. Despite societal stigma, she finds it liberating and advocates for others to try it, emphasizing that it's a personal choice with minimal impact on others.
