💨 Abstract
Ben Barnes, known for playing villainous roles, sought a change by taking on the role of Tim Jamieson in "The Institute," the new Stephen King adaptation on MGM+. Tim, a nightknocker—a kind of night watchman—discovers a government lab conducting experiments on children. Barnes was drawn to Tim's moral compass and the character's efforts to make the world safer. Filming involved night shoots, which Barnes found magical despite the drain.
