John Middleton, known for his role as Ashley Thomas in Emmerdale, joins Hollyoaks as Fraser 'Froggy' Black, a notorious gangster. The character, played as a series regular, will be Clare Devine and Grace Black's grandfather. Froggy, currently in prison, is depicted as scheming with Tom 'Tax Man' Cunningham to target Clare.
