💨 Abstract

A major British grocer, Asda, was fined £657,115 for selling over 100 out-of-date items in Wales, including high-risk foods like meat and dairy. The fines resulted from 115 instances of expired food items over four months in two Cardiff stores. Judge Charlotte Murphy fined Asda £160,000 for each offense, totaling £640,000, with additional court charges.
