💨 Abstract
A couple, Guojun Xuan and Silvia Zhang, with 21 children via surrogacy, were accused of running a human trafficking ring. Police found 15 children in their California home, with 17 under three years old. A nanny was caught abusing the children. Neighbors were unaware of the large number of children. The couple was released as having many children through surrogacy is legal, but the situation raises trafficking concerns.
