💨 Abstract
A British backpacker, Cameron James Wilkins, was assaulted by nine bar workers in Chiang Mai, Thailand, after he refused to pay an inflated bill of £460 at the Diamond Karaoke Bar. Footage showed Wilkins being kicked while restrained. The workers were arrested and charged with assault and other offenses. The bar has been closed, and similar incidents of overcharging tourists in Thailand have been reported.
