💨 Abstract
A Delta Air Lines flight from Omaha to Detroit was diverted to Cedar Rapids after a passenger attempted to open the emergency exit and fought with a flight attendant. Other passengers and crew intervened. The incident occurred approximately one-third into the flight. The disruptive passenger was arrested upon landing. The plane eventually reached Detroit three hours late. The incident is part of a series of recent unruly passenger incidents on flights.
