💨 Abstract

Astronomers have observed the birth of a solar system around a baby star named HOPS-315 using data from the ALMA and James Webb telescopes. This is the first time the initial stages of planetary formation around another star have been documented. Scientists detected the formation of a gaseous disk, the first step in creating new planets. This observation helps illustrate how our own solar system might have formed, providing insights into the planetary formation process.
