💨 Abstract

Over 140 people, including 134 passengers and 11 crew members, were affected by a gastrointestinal illness onboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Navigator of the Seas during a trip from the US to Mexico. Symptoms included vomiting, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. The cause is still unknown, but norovirus is suspected. The ship was cleaned, and affected individuals were isolated.
