Scottie Scheffler won his fourth major title and first Open Championship with a four-shot victory at Royal Portrush. Starting the final round with a four-shot lead, Scheffler maintained it throughout, finishing with a 68 to end at 17 under par. Harris English was his closest rival at 14 under. This win is Scheffler's second major of the season, following his PGA Championship victory.
