A Delta Connection flight from Minneapolis to Minot had to suddenly turn to avoid a B-52 bomber plane. Passengers felt a sharp, unexpected maneuver and the pilot apologized, promising an explanation upon landing. The B-52 was conducting a flyover at the North Dakota State Fair. SkyWest, the flight operator, and the Air Force are investigating the incident, as is the pilot praised by passengers for his transparency.
