💨 Abstract

Habibur Masum, 26, was jailed for at least 28 years after murdering his wife, Kulsuma Akter, 27, in Bradford. Masum tracked Akter to a refuge, where he stabbed her 26 times in front of their seven-month-old son. Akter had fled Masum's violence, jealousy, and controlling behavior. Before the murder, Masum had threatened Akter's life multiple times.
