💨 Abstract
On Tuesday, BBC Radio 1 premiered CMAT's new single "Euro-Country," but the broadcast omitted the song's Irish-language introduction. CMAT clarified on Instagram that the edit was not her decision and was made by her record label. BBC Radio 1 stated they played the version supplied by the label but later aired the full version with the Irish intro. The song, from CMAT’s upcoming album, addresses political themes, including the 2008 financial crash.
