💨 Abstract

Ambrosine Davies, who grew up in the Essex countryside, moved to Los Angeles to study improvisation and comedy. She found the city alluring but also experienced its darker side, including a tumultuous relationship with Fernando, who exhibited aggressive and controlling behavior. After enduring years of abuse, Ambrosine fled to a sketchy neighborhood, where she lived in fear of Fernando's relentless pursuit. Eventually, she decided to leave the U.S.
