💨 Abstract
At least 18 people died and 48 were injured when a double-decker bus traveling from Lima to the Amazon rainforest flipped and fell down a slope in Peru's Junín region. The bus, operated by Expreso Molina Líder Internacional, was en route from Lima to the Amazon when it lost control and split in two. Footage showed local firefighters and police rescuing survivors. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
