💨 Abstract
The author shares her journey of being diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump. She underwent a lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, eventually declaring remission. She and her friends organized fundraising events to raise awareness and money for breast cancer charities. Five years clear, she supported her friend Debbie through her own breast cancer diagnosis. Recently, the author's cancer returned and spread to her lungs, requiring ongoing chemotherapy.
