💨 Abstract
Amazon is developing a live-action series based on the Wolfenstein video game franchise. The series will be executive produced by Patrick Somerville and MachineGames co-founder Jerk Gustafsson, among others. Wolfenstein, originally released in 1981, is known for its first-person shooter gameplay and alternate history setting during World War II. The upcoming show is expected to be based on the recent reboot by MachineGames, which includes Wolfenstein: The New Order and its sequel.
