💨 Abstract
Viktor Gyokeres' representative accused Sporting CP of causing turmoil by trying to sign him to Manchester United before Arsenal. Gyokeres, a 27-year-old strikerr, finally joined Arsenal for £64 million after weeks of negotiations. Sporting CP fined Gyokeres €350,000 for skipping pre-season training and claiming an agreement had already been reached with Arsenal. Gyokeres’ agent claims Arsenal was always the preferred destination.
