💨 Abstract
A 76-year-old pensioner, Jonathon Ruben, has been charged with wilfully ill-treating three boys at a summer camp in Leicestershire, where eight children fell ill. The camp, run by Stathern Children’s Holiday Fund, aims to provide safe and enriching experiences for socially disadvantaged children. All affected children were hospitalized as a precaution and have since been discharged. Local residents described the scene as chaotic but were relieved that the children were safe.
