Kyren Wilson won the Shanghai Masters for the second time, defeating Ali Carter 11-9 in a tightly contested final. Carter, a late replacement, had a remarkable run, overcoming deficits in several matches, including against Mark Williams, Xiao Guodong, and Mark Selby. Wilson, in top form, had previously defeated Ronnie O’Sullivan and Zhao Xintong.
