💨 Abstract
Fiona Phillips, once known for presenting GMTV, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease in 2022. Her husband, Martin Frizell, shares their journey in her memoir, "Remember When: My Life with Alzheimer’s." Alzheimer's in people under 65 is estimated to affect around 70,800 in the UK and accounts for about one-third of young-onset dementia cases.
