💨 Abstract
Microsoft's decision to delay Starfield's PS5 port to 2026 is allegedly due to poor sales of its first DLC, Shattered Space. Despite initially securing Starfield as an Xbox exclusive via the Bethesda acquisition, Microsoft is now considering multi-platform releases. The delay allows time for potential quality improvements and a second DLC, but it comes close to the anticipated GTA 6 release, which could overshadow Starfield if not timed well.
