💨 Abstract
At the 2006 NME Awards, The Cribs' Ryan Jarman accidentally punctured his kidney while jumping onto a table filled with bottles. He won the "Best Live Band" award, intended for Franz Ferdinand, and received the trophy from Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson. Despite being instructed to rest after being stitched up at the hospital, Jarman returned to the party, where he discovered the medical team had improperly stitched his wound.
