💨 Abstract

The UK government is cracking down on unsafe cosmetic procedures by unqualified practitioners. New regulations will require non-surgical procedures like 'liquid' Brazilian Butt Lifts to be performed by specialists in CQC-registered locations. Lower-risk procedures such as Botox will also come under local authority regulation. Health Minister Karin Smyth aims to prevent serious damage from rogue operators, following incidents like Alice Webb's death after a butt lift.
