💨 Abstract

A British couple, Lindsay and Craig Foreman, detained in Iran since January, were finally allowed to speak with their family after 213 days. They were charged with espionage, which both deny. Their son, Joe Bennett, was overwhelmed with emotion during an eight-minute call with his mother, revealing they are being held in harsh conditions in separate prisons. Bennett described his parents as resilient but traumatized, stressed, and in poor health. The Foreign Office continues to advocate for their release.
