💨 Abstract

The Labour Party is deeply divided over whether trans women should be allowed in women-only spaces, according to a recent poll. About 42.7% of members support the government's stance of excluding trans women, while 40.2% disagree. The Supreme Court's decision in April, which redefined 'sex' and 'women' in the Equality Act 2010 to exclude trans women from these spaces, further deepened the split.
