💨 Abstract

A 90-year-old pensioner, Margaret Rose Harris, died after falling on an escalator in a WHSmith store in Swansea. She sustained severe leg injuries and attempted recovery but died shortly after due to uncontrollable bleeding. Her medications, apixaban and aspirin, exacerbated the bleeding. The coroner concluded her death was an accident, with no faults found with the escalator. Tributes from her family and friends highlighted her kindness and intelligence.
