Tottenham midfielder James Maddison will miss most of the upcoming season after suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in his right knee during a pre-season match against Newcastle. Maddison is set for surgery, followed by extensive rehabilitation. This is the same knee that previously sidelined him during the Europa League final.
