💨 Abstract

"High Tension," released in 2003, is a French horror film notorious for its graphic violence and unsettling scenes. Directed by Alexandre Aja, it follows two friends, Alex and Marie, who are terrorized by a psychotic truck driver at Marie's family home. The film is part of the New French Extremity movement and gained controversy due to similarities with Dean Koontz’s novel "Intensity."
