💨 Abstract

Wildfires ravage Europe, as heatwaves sweep through the continent, causing evacuations, injuries, and deaths. A persistent heat dome over Europe exacerbates the situation, with countries like France, Spain, and Albania severely affected. In Italy, a four-year-old boy died from heatstroke. France and Albania are under severe heat alerts, with wildfires in the thousands of hectares. Spain's UNESCO site and several villages in Portugal also face fierce wildfires.
