💨 Abstract
An English woman, Alicia Kemp, has admitted to causing the death of a 51-year-old man, Thanh Phan, while riding an e-scooter under the influence of alcohol in Perth, Australia. Kemp and her passenger were ejected from a bar earlier that day for being drunk. Phan died from a brain bleed days after the incident. Kemp faces up to 20 years in prison. The accident led to a suspension of hire e-scooters in Perth.
