💨 Abstract

Caroline Willgoose, mother of murdered teenager Harvey Willgoose, expressed sympathy for her son's 15-year-old killer, stating he was "let down" by the system despite acknowledging he should be made an example of. Harvey was stabbed outside his Sheffield school in February. The teenager's anonymity is protected due to his age, but Willgoose believes this should be lifted. Both she and her daughter Sophie are campaigning for knife detection systems and education in schools.
