💨 Abstract
A UK theater group, Mikron, had to remove their vintage narrowboat from the River Thames due to unprecedented drought and low water levels caused by record-breaking heatwaves. For the first time in nearly 50 years, they had to transport the boat by land to continue their summer tour. Water shortages have led to canal closures, impacting their travel plans and increasing costs.
