💨 Abstract
One person died and five were injured when a hot air balloon crashed in Friesland, Netherlands. The balloon, carrying 34 people, took off from Joure and landed hard around 9 PM. A sudden wind gust increased its speed just before touchdown, causing multiple bounces. These injuries coincide with growing incidents despite the activity's popularity. An investigation into the cause is underway as authorities confirmed the deployment of multiple ambulances and an air ambulance to the site.
