💨 Abstract
Manchester United appears to have halted their pursuit of Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba before the transfer window closes. Despite identifying Baleba as a top midfield target, Brighton is unwilling to sell him this summer. This is because Baleba still has three years left on his contract, and the club aims to retain him for at least another season, potentially securing a similar fee to the £115 million they received for Moises Caicedo.
