💨 Abstract
A suspected Russian arson attack caused a fire at a DHL depot in Birmingham, UK, on July 22. The fire, which destroyed an Amazon delivery pallet moved outside by staff, was discovered immediately and responded to by firefighters. Western security officials suggested the operation could have been a test run for future sabotage against the US. In November, Poland alleged Russian involvement, while UK investigations led to the arrest of a Romanian man.
