💨 Abstract
During a summit on Ukraine, President Trump and Vladimir Putin engaged in a notable handshake. Trump extended his hand palm-up, signaling friendship and allowing Putin to take a dominant position. However, Trump then pulled Putin closer, bringing him into his own space. Body language expert Susan Constantine interpreted this as Trump not submitting but instead making Putin feel unarmed. Overall, both leaders appeared to have good rapport and were seen as equals.
