💨 Abstract
Due to significant coastal erosion, the National Trust has temporarily closed access to Pedn Vounder Beach in Cornwall, known for its clear waters as well as being an unofficial nudist beach and featured in the show Poldark. The closure comes amid safety concerns as the erosion has made the footpath increasingly unsafe. Locals were surprised by the decision, stating that the pathway did not appear significantly deteriorated. The National Trust emphasizes that the closure was made in consultation with authorities to prevent injuries.
