💨 Abstract
Tesco and Asda have suspended pork supplies from Somerby Top Farm in Lincolnshire after undercover footage from Animal Justice Project revealed severe animal cruelty. Workers were seen hitting pigs and conducting botched killings. The farm's certification by Red Tractor was suspended, and both supermarkets initiated investigations. The farm's operator, Cranswick, has implemented significant welfare changes. This follows similar incidents at another Cranswick farm, Northmoor Farm, where piglets were abused.
