💨 Abstract

Thomasina Miers, the first winner of BBC's MasterChef, expressed anger over John Torode's dismissal from the show following a conduct investigation. The Silkins report substantiated multiple claims against judges Gregg Wallace and Torode. The BBC decided to air the 21st series, despite editing out two contestants' appearances. Miers defended Torode, stating she couldn't believe he was "hung out to dry."
