💨 Abstract

On September 7, 2025, the U.K. will experience a Blood Moon, a red-colored full moon caused by a total lunar eclipse. This rare event, visible in the evening without needing special equipment, occurs when the Earth's shadow covers the moon, filtering out blue and green light and leaving a red hue. The maximum eclipse will happen at 7:33 PM, but it will be best visible in Asia.
