💨 Abstract
Dubai has introduced a world-first AI-powered passport control tunnel, allowing travelers to pass through security without showing documents, taking just 6-14 seconds. This "red carpet corridor" uses biometric data and flight information to recognize passengers and their luggage. Available initially for business class departures, it will soon expand to arrivals. Several airports, including Singapore's Changi and Abu Dhabi's Zayed International, are also implementing similar biometric technologies.
