💨 Abstract
The UK is bracing for heavy rain and strong winds starting Wednesday evening, with three yellow weather warnings in place for Thursday. Southern England, parts of Wales, and Yorkshire are expected to receive up to 50mm of rain, causing potential flooding and travel disruptions. Winds of up to 75mph may lead to power cuts, transport issues, and damage to buildings. The severe weather is expected to clear by Friday, with cooler temperatures.
