💨 Abstract
A tuk-tuk driver, Iuliu Kubola, admitted to stealing over £24,000 worth of wine and champagne from multiple London restaurants. Caught on CCTV, he used a wheelie bin to transport the stolen goods. Kubola, who claimed he intended to drink the wine, was given until 3 November to return the bottles before sentencing. He was arrested with stolen alcohol and burglary tools. His defense argued he acted due to unpaid wages.
