💨 Abstract
Masked pro-Palestine activists disrupted a lecture by Israeli professor Michael Ben-Gad at City University London, calling him a "war criminal" and "Nazi." The group refused to leave, with one allegedly threatening violence. Ben-Gad, an IDF veteran, rejected university offers of paid leave and vowed to continue teaching, calling the activists "modern brown shirts." Over 600 academics condemned the harassment, emphasizing academic freedom.
