💨 Abstract

Doctors in England will strike for five days in November (14–19) due to a pay dispute with the government. The British Medical Association (BMA) claims wages are 20% lower in real terms than in 2008, despite a 28.9% pay rise over three years. Talks with Health Secretary Wes Streeting failed, as the BMA deemed his proposals insufficient.
