A Pizza Hut franchise director, Alhassan Goussous, was fined over £39,000 after his restaurant in Waltham Forest, London, was found infested with rats. The establishment was closed following a public tip-off, revealing poor cleanliness and inadequate pest control. Goussous's firm operates 24 Pizza Hut locations and other high-street brands.
